Competition Details
Intermediate competition finals will be held LIVE at the Australia's Ultimate Drummers Weekend 18th anniversary on Saturday July 24th, 2010.

All finalists will perform for a selected judging panel of Australian and International drum artists and the winner will be announced at the 18th Annual Australian Ultimate Drummer's Weekend & Expo 2010.

Interstate entries are welcome. All interstate finalists are responsible for their own transport and accommodation if traveling to Melbourne for INTERMEDIATE competition finals.

All finalists will receive a commemorative certificate.

Competition Requirements
Choose one piece from each category and record the pieces on a VHS video tape or DVD.

ENTRY FEE $30

Choose one piece from each category

Reading 20 marks

Play Sight Reading exercise No. 33 on page 89 from 'Reading Rhythm' by Bill Kezelos

Technique 20 marks

Any one piece from Rudiments & Motions by Frank Corniola (pp 155-161)

Kit Piece 40 marks

Any one (1) of the following:

	'Oakland Drive' or 'Streets of Cuba' from 'Rhythm Section Drumming' by Frank Corniola
	OR Any one (1) of Dave Weckl pieces from the 'In Session - With Dave Weckl Band' book
	OR Any one (1) of Tommy Igoe pieces from the 'Groove Essentials' book
	OR A piece of your choice of similar standard

Free Choice Section 20 marks Open solo - Max 3 minutes
