Competition Details
Junior competition finals will be held LIVE at Australia's Ultimate Drummers Weekend 18th Anniversary on

Saturday July 24th, 2010.

All finalists will perform for a selected judging panel of Australian and International drum artists and the winner will be announced at the 18th Annual Australia's Ultimate Drummer's Weekend & Expo 2010.

Interstate entries are welcome. All interstate finalists are responsible for their own transport and accommodation if traveling to Melbourne for JUNIOR competition finals.

All finalists will receive a commemorative certificate.

Competition Requirements

Choose one piece from each category and record the pieces on a VHS video tape or DVD.

ENTRY FEE $30

Choose one piece from each category:

Reading 20 marks

Play Sight Reading exercise No. 10 on page 41 from 'Reading Rhythm' by Bill Kezelos

Technique 20 marks

Any one piece from Rudiments & Motions by Frank Corniola (pp 133-144)

Kit Piece 40 marks

Any one (1) of the following:

	One (1) of 'Summaries of 2-5', 'Going Home' or 'Bon Voyage' from 'Rhythm Section Drumming' by Frank Corniola
	OR Any one (1) of Dave Weckl pieces from 'The Ultimate Play Along Volume 1 or 2'

Free Choice Section 20 marks Open solo - Max 3 minutes
