Rules
Drummers
currently under contract with any or all of A.B.U. competition
sponsors (ie Yamaha, Paiste, Vater) are eligible to enter within
the appropriate age category more than once. This includes previous
winners who may wish to continue to enter and compete over consecutive
years. For all new entrants entry/ audition is by recording
the drumming material listed within your age category on VHS home
video or DVD. Judging is based on technique, groove, proficiency, relaxation,
presentation and creativity. Extensive video production not required.
Entrants are NOT judged on the production quality of their video/ DVD
entry.
Please
include a cheque of money order for AUD$25.00 as entry fee with
your video/ DVD.
Please note contestants
under endorsement contract with companies other than Yamaha, Paiste
and Vater are not eligible to re-enter.
