* Drummers currently under contract with any or all of A.B.U. competition sponsors (Sponsors TBC) are eligible to enter within the appropriate age category more than once. This includes previous winners who may wish to continue to enter and compete over consecutive years.

* For all new entrants entry/ audition is by recording the drumming material listed within your age category on VHS home video or DVD. Submissions must be playable on a standard DVD/ VHS player.

* Judging is based on technique, groove, proficiency, relaxation, presentation and creativity.

* Extensive video production is not required. (Entrants are NOT judged on the production quality of their video/ DVD entry.)

* Drumtek reserves the right to publish images of all finalists in media outlets, including video footage of competition final high-lights on the AUDW DVD releases, and on Drumtek's website.

* Contestants will pay for their own travel and accommodation expenses.

* Drumtek will provide all Drums, Hardware and Cymbals for the competition finals..

* Please include a cheque or money order for AUD$30.00 as entry fee with your video/ DVD.

* Add an additional $7.00 P&H fee to the Cheque or Money order if you require your Video/DVD returned.

* No judges reports/marks will be provided to the contestants.

* The official Drumtek entry form must be completed and sent in with your video/DVD.

Open Category Winner Conditions:

In order for the Open category winner to play live at the following years AUDW festival, he or she must sign a 24 month endorsement contract with the respective current AUDW competition sponsors.

* Contestants under endorsement contract with companies other than the 2010 sponsors are not eligible to re-enter
