 When you think of drummer, composer, educator Benny Greb, terms like ‘exceptional musicality’, ‘boundless creativity’, ‘versatility’, ‘fluent’, ‘studied’, ‘analytical’, ‘interdependent’, ‘emotive’, ‘hilarious’, ‘groove personified’ and ‘German precision’ come to mind... and Benny is all these things and more.

 In 2005 he seemingly appeared out of nowhere and took the drumming industry by storm, establishing new levels of artistry and setting new precedents for educational resources with his award winning instructional DVDs 'The Language Of Drumming' and 'The Art And Science Of Groove'.

 Benny is meticulous with everything he turns his hand to: from creating state-of-the-art learning materials to writing complex a cappella drum accompanied compositions, a la Grebfruit l and ll.

 Benny has many strings to his bow: in his native Germany, he is a sought-after session musician, having played and recorded with many artists in varied styles, as well as TV productions and orchestral accompaniments. He is a prolific composer, bandleader, educator and analogy master ready to share his boundless knowledge of the science of drumming with the wider global community.

Having performed at AUDW in 2007, Benny returns this year for a highly anticipated workshop performance on Saturday 25^th at 11:30am and in concert at 4:45pm on Sunday 26^th August.
