RETURNS

CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS

If you wish to return an item because you have changed your mind about your purchase, DRUMTEK will offer you an exchange voucher or refund provided that:

  • You return the item within 7 days of purchase;
  • You produce your original DRUMTEK register OR ONLINE TAX INVOICE RECEIPT at the time you return the item
  • The item is in resalable condition including that:
    • It is in its original packaging, including instruction manuals and all accessories;
    • It is unopened, unused and in its original condition;
    • Any protective panels and labels are still attached;
  • The product is not one on which a change of mind return is not available (see below).
  • PLEASE NOTE; Any postage or freight charges incurred by the return goods to DRUMTEK under our ‘change of mind returns’ policy will need to be covered by the customer returning said goods. Further to this, any alternative product selected to replace returned goods under this policy, and sent to the customer by DRUMTEK, will incur further freight/postage charges at the customer’s expense.

If these requirements are not satisfied DRUMTEK reserves the right not to offer an exchange, voucher or refund for change of mind returns.

GOODS ON WHICH A CHANGE OF MIND RETURN IS NOT AVAILABLE

DRUMTEK will not accept the return of items from the following categories under the change of mind returns policy under any circumstances:

  • CYMBALS
  • BOOKS & DVD’S
  • GIFT VOUCHERS

These products can still be returned if they are faulty.

OTHER RETURNS INCLUDING WARRANTY ASSESSMENTS

DRUMTEK will accept product returns and provide you with an exchange, refund or repair where:

  • The product is faulty or is not of acceptable quality; or
  • The product does not match the sample of our description.
DRUMTEK may elect to return the product to the manufacturer’s repair agent to determine the nature of the problem. DRUMTEK reserves the right not to offer an exchange, refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect.

Please be aware that data (including, but not limited to, sounds, music & video) may be lost during the repair process of electrical and electronic products.

Goods presented for repair may be replaced by goods of the same type rather than being repaired. This will be most likely determined by the manufacturer under the guidelines of that respective companies ‘warranty returns policy’. Please see our ‘warranty returns procedure’ for goods that fall under warranty assessment.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

DRUMTEK RESERVES THE RIGHT TO

Assess the condition and age of returned goods prior to providing a repair, exchange or refund. This may result in a repair, exchange or refund being refused.

Please note:

  • Your original DRUMTEK register receipt is the best form of proof of purchase
  • Refunds will be issued using your original payment method
  • VOUCHERS are not redeemable for cash

ONLINE PURCHASE RETURNS

The DRUMTEK Returns Policy applies to online purchases. However, instead of the store register receipt as your proof of purchase you will need to present a copy of the tax invoice you received by email (please note this is not the email confirmation document you received).

DELIVERY

With regard to all of our online purchases - Drumteks delivery policy is to deliver purchased goods to our customers within the shortest period possible ( please refer to each product for delivery options and delivery time specifications). Based on the ready availability of the items purchased, Drumtek's delivery policy allows for the safe delivery of product/s purchased within  2 to 7 days maximum. In the instance that an item may be 'special order' or 'out of stock'  for a period longer than 7 days, a representative of Drumtek will contact the customer directly either by phone or email to advise of the actual extended delivery time, or to offer an appropriate alternative or refund, if the product/s purchased exceed the necessary delivery time for the customer.

Our checkout pages are protected by 128-bit SSL security provided by GeoTrust so it is safe to enter your personal information and credit card details.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Gift certificates are delivered via email to the nominated person using the Recipient's Name and Recipient's Email fields on the gift certificates page.

Gift certificates can be purchased for any amount up to $1000.

Gift certificates are non-refundable

Gift certificates expire after 12 months
