The 14x5 Sonor Artist Series Scandinavian Birch snare drum (AS-12-1405-MB-SDW) has a 6-ply thin vintage maple shell with Dynamic Edge reinforcement rings and a Scandinavian Birch veneer. This Sonor snare drum features a 10-lug TuneSafe configuration (20 individual lugs), 45 degree bearing edges, Sonor Dual Glide Snare Strainer System, single flange steel hoops, 18-strand bronze snare wires, Sonor Medium coated single ply batter drumhead, with 24k gold-plated fittings and hardware. This drum also features a Semi Gloss Scandanavian Birch woodgrain finish.
